Hello Experts,

How to use EFI_SERIAL_IO_PROTOCOL->GetControl(). I tried in following fashion,

Created a instance of EFI_SERIAL_IO_PROTOCOL through gBS->HandleProtocol().

And used SerialIO->GetControl(). But it gaves me compilation error.

Please share code snippet if possible.

Please help me.

Thank you.

Subject: [edk2] EFI_SERIAL_IO_PROTOCOL

Hello experts,

I am developing an EFI application for serial communication using SERIAL_IO protocol. Please let me know how I can ensure the values of DTR, RTS are modified after my program execution. I studied the EFI_SERIAL_IO_PROTOCOL. I have identified the SetControl () of this protocol to achieve the desired functionality.

Please let me know is any other way to do serial communication in EFI.

(I have taken EDK 1.06 source code as base version.)

Thanks in adv.
