the command
> dh 119 -d
should give you some more information of drivers that are connected (or not) to the device.

I had some similiar issue some days ago. I updated the Gigabit Network drivers with the newst version from Intel.
Do you have the possibility to activate some network related features in the Setup? In my case the networkstack was integrated but not activated in the setup.
I also download the newest version of the networkstack from the svn-trunk and rebuild the binarys myself.
